Since the summer transfer market opened, the 25-year-old has been rumoured to leave Liverpool. After a successful loan at Bournemouth, he was put on the transfer list because of Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate, and Joe Gomez.
Phillips failed to earn a permanent move and has played just 208 minutes in four appearances for Liverpool.
