On Saturday (April 29), Mumbai Indians said that Jofra Archer did go to Belgium for a “minor surgery.” There is no clear answer to the question of when the visit and treatment took place. This was a hot topic of discussion in the cricket world, and the player himself weighed in.
“Yes, he was (in Belgium for surgery),” Mumbai Indians coach Mark Boucher said, telling the truth. On the day before Mumbai Indians played Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede, the South African said, “I think it was a minor surgery.”
Archer only seemed to be gone for a day, but Boucher wouldn’t know when that was. “I have to take care of things,” he said.
When news came out that the English speed, who was born in Barbados, had a short trip to Belgium for elbow surgery, Archer had a lot to say about it.

Boucher also said that Archer is ready to play in the Saturday night game, which could change the way the game goes. “Everyone knows what Jofra is capable of. Archer is one of the best fast bowlers in the world, but he hasn’t done much so far in the IPL. He only played in two of MI’s seven games this season and took one wicket. The team will be counting on Archer to make a difference, which he is able to do, before it’s too late in the season for them.
