Danish Kaneria on India’s semi-final collapse: “Pakistan are far superior than India when it comes to handling pressure.”

Former leg spinner Danish Kaneria thinks India’s failure to produce under pressure cost them a spot in the T20 World Cup 2022 finals.

Kaneria stated on his YouTube channel on November 10 that Pakistani players are better under duress than Team India players. He also said Rohit Sharma and Co. lack a T20I defence like the Men in Green.

Ex-Men in Green spinner:

“Indian players aren’t pressure-tolerant. Pakistan manages pressure better than India. Pakistan’s bowling attack would help India bat first in the semi-finals.” However, India lacks bowlers like Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, and Mohammad Nawaz.”

Indian bowlers failed to take a wicket in their semi-final match against England at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday. Jos Buttler and Alex Hales’ record 170-run stand helped their team win by 10-wickets.

Danish Kaneria on India’s T20I performance: “The IPL started in 2008, and they haven’t won the title even once.”

Kaneria stated that despite the Indian Premier League (IPL) is considered one of the best T20 leagues in the world, India has never won a World Cup in the format since its start in 2008.

Despite the cash-rich league’s success, India’s T20 World Cup performance has been poor. Kaneria: “MS Dhoni’s India won the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007. Since the IPL began in 2008, they have never won.” They won the 50-over World Cup, but not T20. World-class leagues include the IPL. Why has Indian cricket suffered since then?”

The Blues’ ICC performances have been criticized. The team’s last championship was the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy in England under MS Dhoni.
