We’re excited to be here, so we’ll bowl first. It appears to be a beautiful day. I’m in good spirits and eager to play some cricket. You are overjoyed to be back and realize what you were missing. Ireland is expected to put up a fight, bar none. I’m a fast bowler, so I hope the pitch helps. Prasidh Krishna and Rinku are making their debuts. At the coin toss, Bumrah advised them to simply enjoy their game of cricket.

Rinku discussed his sentiments at making the Indian team in a video posted by the BCCI’s official Twitter account prior to the first T20I.

“I was there with a few of my buddies at my practice group in Noida. When I learned about my choice, I was overjoyed and called my mother. When Rinku learned that he had been chosen for the Ireland series, he recalled how she had always encouraged him to play for India.
