Fans hail Kuldeep Yadav for key stand with Ashwin.

On Day 2 of the first Test match between India and Bangladesh, which took place in Chattogram on Thursday, Kuldeep Yadav made a significant contribution with the bat by scoring 40 runs (114 total), which contributed to India surpassing the 400-run milestone.

After losing seven wickets, the visitors were in a precarious position with a score of 293; however, Kuldeep and Ravichandran Ashwin came together at the crease and contributed an important 87 runs to the run total for the eighth wicket. The duo demonstrated outstanding application and played each delivery to the best of its ability.

Fans on Twitter praised Kuldeep Yadav for his partnership with Ravichandran Ashwin, which contributed to a key run. In addition to this, they believe that he applied himself better than the majority of Indian batters.

The following are some of the responses:

India is now in a solid position thanks to Kuldeep Yadav and Ashwin.

After Ebadot Hossain’s early strike on Day 2, which resulted in the dismissal of Shreyas Iyer, Bangladesh would have hoped to finish off the Indian innings under 320 runs. However, this did not come to pass as Kuldeep joined Ravichandran Ashwin at the crease to provide him with a significant amount of support.

As the game progressed, the two spinners demonstrated why their batting is held in such high regard by building a steady partnership. Alongside Ashwin, Kuldeep was able to contribute significantly to India’s run total by utilising both his forward and reverse sweeps to great advantage.

Because he was caught in front on 40, the left-handed batter will be quite disappointed that he will not reach his first Test half-century. On the other hand, his greatest Test score made sure that India’s tail wagged once again when it was needed, and they are currently in a good position in the Test.

In their reply, Bangladesh have already lost a wicket, so they will have to bat exceptionally well if they want to avoid giving up a first-innings advantage.
