In their match for the ICC World Cup 2023, India easily defeated Pakistan. Thanks to an outstanding bowling effort, they dismissed Men in Green for a mere 191 runs. In the chase, Shreyas Iyer produced an undefeated 53 runs to lead his team home, while Rohit Sharma sent their pacers to the cleaners with a devastating 86 runs.
India’s World Cup winning streak versus Pakistan continued. In the 50-over competition, they have never lost to them. They had thumped them eight times before. Political issues have prevented the two sides from playing each other in a series since they last played each other in a bilateral series in 2013.
