In the next two days, KL Rahul will join LSG

Published:

In two or three days, KL Rahul, who is receiving rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, will report to his Indian Premier League (IPL) team. After missing the first Test match against England in January, the captain of the Lucknow Super Giants has been authorized to play in the Indian Premier League.

According to a franchise insider, “He will be very much available from the first game of the season.” Rahul was supposed to go for Lucknow on March 20, but he might travel with his colleagues the next day because of the pre-IPL Captains Conclave in Chennai on March 21. On March 24, LSG will play their debut game in Jaipur against the Rajasthan Royals. Opening Day of the IPL is March 22.

As this website has previously reported, Rahul intends to use the Indian Premier League as a springboard for his Twenty20 International comeback. During the IPL, Rahul, who opened his career, will play in the middle order and take wickets. As to a well-informed source, “He will be keeping wickets from the first game itself to stake his claim in the India team for the Twenty20 World Cup.”

Rahul was approved by NCA on Monday after demonstrating his fitness in a game. Rahul had traveled to London to see a specialist for persistent quadriceps pain last month.

Tuesday is Pat Cummins’ arrival date.

It has been revealed that Pat Cummins, who the SunRisers Hyderabad paid Rs 20.5 crore for, will be joining his colleagues in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The SRH team has been in Hyderabad for a few days for a camp, and captain Cummins has been allowed to join the team a little bit later by the management.

While in Bengaluru, Virat Kohli, who missed the five-Test home series against England this winter owing to the birth of his second kid, assimilated with his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammates on Monday. Mitchell Starc, one of Cummins’s Australia teammates, joined the Kolkata Knight Riders.

3000 fans are invited by MI to a practice match.

The Mumbai Indians, who have gained momentum with the addition of Rohit Sharma, have reportedly extended special invitations to roughly 3000 supporters for the team’s Wednesday practice match at the Wankhede. Even though it’s an intra-franchise contest, there should be some enthusiastic spectators.
