IND vs. AU: Ian Chappell doesn’t think Shreyas Iyer is a good spin player. Indian Batter’s over-the-top approach doesn’t impress me.

Ian Chappell, a former Australian player, wasn’t happy with the way Shreyas Iyer hit the ball during the third Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test against Australia. The game took place at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. On the third day of the game, Australia won by nine wickets.

During the third Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test, India had trouble on a pitch that was very good for spin bowlers. In their first and second innings, they were bowled out for 109 and 163, respectively.

Matthew Kuhnemann, a left-arm spinner, got rid of India’s middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer with the second ball of the first innings. He didn’t hit anything. But in the second innings, Iyer went after the spinners. He hit Kuhnemann for two sixes and Lyon for two fours before Usman Khawaja caught Mitchell Starc’s ball and ended his 26-run knock.

India and Australia will play their fourth Test match on March 9 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. With a spot in the WTC Finals on the line, the team led by Rohit Sharma will want to win.
