Sri Lanka versus India Head to Head Records in the Asia Cup. The two most successful teams in Asia Cup history are Sri Lanka and India. Since the first edition of the continental championship, which Team India won in 1984, both teams have dominated the competition. India and Sri Lanka have won the most Asia Cup championships of any team in the region.

Sri Lanka is the current leader on the list with six titles won, followed by India with seven. Pakistan is the only other team to have won the continental championship in addition to India and Sri Lanka. Additionally, India and Sri Lanka have placed second three and six times, respectively.

Possibly the most heated rivalry in the Asia Cup is that between India and Sri Lanka. The head-to-head record between the two teams essentially demonstrates that both have consistently battled for supremacy in the continental title. Both countries have faced off against one another 19 times in the Asia Cup’s ODI format, with Sri Lanka narrowly holding the advantage.

India has won the other 9 games, while Sri Lanka has triumphed in 10 of the 19 matches. Both teams have one victory over one another in T20Is.

Asia Cup head-to-head records for IND vs. SL India and Sri Lanka had 19 matches against one another in the ODI format. India defeated Pakistan in their first meeting in the Asia Cup in 1984. Since that time, both clubs have faced off against one another frequently in the competition.
