IPL 2023: Litton Das of the Bangladesh cricket team met up with the Kolkata Knight Riders at a hotel in Kolkata on Sunday night. Litton left his country on Sunday night and updated Facebook and Instagram with what he was doing. The KKR batter will play in his first IPL game.

After he left, he posted a picture on social media and wrote, “I’m going to Kolkata. Please remember to pray for me!” Litton also told reporters at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport that he would first try to find out more about the IPL.

IPL 2023: “We Could Have Been Together”- Litton Das

Litton Das was bought by KKR for INR 50 Lakhs. But his spot in the starting eleven is still up in the air because Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Jason Roy, and Narayan Jagadeesan, both of whom are from India, are also openers for the team. Sunil Narine can also be added to the starting lineup.

Litton, who bats with his right hand and is in good form, left for Kolkata on Sunday night to join the KKR team. He should go back to Bangladesh before they go on tour in Ireland in the first week of May. The experienced all-rounder Litton Das was not supposed to be the only Bangladeshi player for KKR in the 2023 season. Shakib Al Hasan would also be there. The young hitter says he will miss the other person on the national team.

Chances of Litton Das in Kolkata Knight Riders IPL 2023: “IPL Will Help Bangladesh Cricketers in the Future,” says Litton Das. Litton Das doesn’t have much of a chance of making the team because they already have a foreign wicketkeeper, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, especially if he stays for three to four weeks. But at that time, he will take in as much information as he can. He got to the training center after the team had already played three games, and he will leave in the first week of May, right before Bangladesh goes on a tour of Ireland.

He won’t be at the competition for the rest of it. Das has recently impressed people with his brave play in all three types of cricket. He averaged more than 50 in ODIs in 2022.

Even in the series against India at the end of last year, he was the best player for his country. This is why KKR paid 50 lakhs to get him in the IPL 2023 mini-auction.
