IPL 2023: “THERE IS A MENTAL BLOCK,” VIRENDER SEHWAG SAYS ABOUT ROHIT SHARMA’S Failed Performance

Published:

The Mumbai Indians have won the Indian Premier League five times, but they haven’t done well in the last two seasons. Even though Rohit Sharma is the captain of the IPL’s most successful team brand, he has consistently done poorly and scored few runs.

The Mumbai Indians are in eighth place on the IPL 2023 Points Table. Rohit Sharma, the team’s aggressive first batter, has only scored 184 runs in the 10 games they have played, which is an average of 18.40. On May 9, 2023, the team’s 11th game will be against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Rohit Sharma’s Dry Patch: What Virender Sehwag Has to Say

Former Indian opening batter Virender Sehwag wanted to know why Rohit Sharma wasn’t doing well in the event. He thinks that there is nothing wrong with the way he hits the ball, but that the Indian captain has a mental block or is confused.

Sehwag is sure that Rohit Sharma will get the block away from him the day. In future games, he will make up for all the bad ones he has had.

“Rohit Sharma isn’t fighting the bowlers; he’s fighting himself.” There is a block in the mind. There’s nothing wrong with the way he hits the ball. His mind is a little bit mixed up. But the day he gets going, we’ll make up for all the other games,” Virender Sehwag told Star Sports.

Rohit Sharma is the captain of the Mumbai Indians, and Cameron Green supports him.
Fans and cricket experts have been calling for Rohit Sharma to be fired as captain of the Mumbai Indians because he hasn’t done well in the event. Even though Rohit Sharma hasn’t done well in the game, Australian All-Rounder Cameron Green supports him as Mumbai Indians’ captain.

“We know that Rohit is loyal to the Mumbai Indians and that we know everything he has done in his career. So, we fully support him. He can come back and play for us. In a few games, he hit the ball well and kept a good pace at the top. So, Rohit has our full support,” said Cameron Green at a press meeting before the match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
