After this talk, Sri Lanka volunteered to be the site of the Asia Cup. But Jay Shah has said that the final decision will now be made after the Indian Premier League finals. He said that the heads of the different groups will meet in Ahmedabad after the IPL final to talk about the next step of the Asia Cup.
Pakistan will be the host country for the 2023 Asia Cup, no matter where it takes place.
