In the last game of the group stage, India and Kuwait played to a draw in the last minute. Coach Igor Stimuch will not be in the semi-finals because he got a red card during the game.

Sunil Chhetri is the best player for India. No one else works as hard on the field as Chhetri does, even though he is 38 years old. has scored 5 goals in 3 games. He got three goals against Pakistan. Nepal and Kuwait were the ones who got hit. India scored seven goals in the event as a whole. Udanta Singh and Mahesh Singh also scored goals. Both Sahal Abdul Samad and Lalliensuale Changte are doing well. But there is no way to clear a path to the goal. Defense is great. Even though Kuwait scored an own goal, the defenders did a good job in that game.

Lebanon did well enough to move on to the semi-finals. All three games were won. They have people who can score goals. The line-up of Hassan Madauk, Mohammad Sadek, and Khalil Bader will be a test for the Indian defense. Lebanon has won it three times, and India has won it twice. Match three ended in a tie. In the last two games, India has had the better hand. When they first played each other in the Intercontinental Cup, they tied. Then, in the final, they beat Lebanon by two goals and won the whole thing.
