Lionel Messi was seen at the airport, preparing to rejoin PSG. The Argentine will resume training after two weeks off.

The 35-year-old won the World Cup with Argentina in December and is celebrating at home. He missed two Ligue1 matches because PSG let him return late.

The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner will return to PSG training on Tuesday. The French team plays LB Châteauroux in Coupe de France on Friday.

Messi is expected to return to training on Tuesday, January 3, according to PSG manager Christophe Galtier. said

“We’ll welcome him. Leo will arrive in 48 hours, on January 3. He’ll be welcomed home. I’m sure he’ll be well-received in Parc des Princes. He won the World Cup by playing well. Above anything, we must remember what he’s done for the squad since the season began.”
