No Team Is Under Greater Expectations Than India, according to India vs. Pakistan. Sunil Gavaskar wants India to have no bad knockout days

The legendary batsman Sunil Gavaskar said that the Indian Cricket Team is under more pressure than any other team in the globe. For the team to win the ICC World Cup and the Asia Cup in 2023, he stated that all of the supporters must be understanding and upbeat.

The Indian Cricket Team will play undercover for the upcoming two months as they compete in both the ICC World Cup 2023 and the Asia Cup 2023. Since 2013, they have failed to win any ICC championships, so the team will be under a lot of pressure to succeed in these two events.

The Asia Cup 2023 will be the initial priority for Team India. The competition will start on August 30 and they will play their first game against bitter foe Pakistan on September 2 in Kandy. The likelihood of a rematch between the two sides is strong, and it’s safe to assume that it will be an excellent way for them to get ready for the World Cup.

Sunil Gavaskar claimed that pressure on the squad comes from people all over the world wanting squad India to triumph. He believes there will be a lot of pressure on the team. In his remarks at the publication of the book “Pitchside: My Life in Indian Cricket,” written by seasoned cricket administrator Amrit Mathur, he explained (as reported by PTI):

No other cricket team in the world, in my opinion, is subject to the same kind of pressure from expectations as the Indian side. Because every time the team plays, the supporters and fans around the world, not just in India, expect and want India to win.

We are all aware that in sports, you can sometimes succeed and other times fail. The pressure can be telling, and I believe the Indian squad is currently under this kind of strain since everyone wants them to win the Asia Cup and the World Cup, which will be played in about a month.
