The Pakistan Cricket Board has put T20 cricket at the top of its list of priorities for the national team before the next T20 World Cup, which will be held in the West Indies and the United States. Because of this, Pakistan will now play more T20Is at home against New Zealand, and the series with the West Indies has been moved back.
As part of the new WTC cycle, the West Indies were supposed to play two Tests in Pakistan in February of next year. But now that date has been moved to January 2025. After their tour of Australia later this year, Pakistan will now go to New Zealand and play five T20Is starting on January 12. Then, in April 2024, New Zealand will go back to Pakistan to play five more T20Is as part of the lead-up to the T20 World Cup.
Pakistan will play a total of 19 T20Is before the World Cup, which has been announced by PCB. The Asian team will also play three games against Netherlands, two games against Ireland, and four games against the current winners, England. Because of these changes, Pakistan’s trip to New Zealand to play three ODIs and five T20Is in January 2025 has been moved to April 2025.

October/November 2023: The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup takes place in India.
Pakistan goes to Australia for three Tests in December and January.
January: Pakistan goes to New Zealand (5T20Is).
April: New Zealand goes to Pakistan for five Twenty20 Internationals.
May: Pakistan plays three Twenty20 Internationals in the Netherlands, two in Ireland, and four in England.
June: USA/West Indies host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024
2024-25
August: Bangladesh plays two tests in Pakistan.
October: England plays three Tests in Pakistan.
November: Pakistan plays in Australia (3 ODIs and 3 T20Is).
Pakistan will go to Zimbabwe in November or December for three ODIs and three T20Is.
Pakistan goes to South Africa in December and January for two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is.
January: West Indies play two Tests in Pakistan.
February: South Africa and New Zealand play in Pakistan as part of an ODI tri-series.
February/March: Pakistan hosts the ICC Champions Trophy 2025
Pakistan goes to New Zealand in April for three ODIs and five T20Is.
May: Bangladesh plays three ODIs and three T20Is in Pakistan.
