Paul Pogba spoke about playing with Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.
Both they have played for Manchester United and Juventus. The Portugal icon signed a two-year deal with Manchester United in 2021.
He played 20 times with Pogba in 2021-22. This was the only season the two were teammates despite their history with Manchester United and Juventus.
The France international was able to gauge Cristiano Ronaldo’s sportsmanship. He said (via Daily Mail):
“He’ve never seen Ronaldo’s discipline. Discipline is high. He see many professional players who come early, do recoveries, and so on.
Pogba, who joined Juventus on a free transfer this summer, continued:
“But Cristiano is always there and never stops. daily Some days you feel fine. He’s never absent. His daily discipline is admirable.”
This season, Messi’s attitude and discipline have been criticised. He clashed with manager Erik ten Hag, saying he didn’t respect him because he wasn’t respected.
Cristiano Ronaldo was reportedly offered to several UEFA Champions League clubs, but none signed him. Last month, he left the Red Devils by mutual consent and has been linked to Al-Nassr.
Former Manchester United star upset by Ronaldo interview
Cristiano Ronaldo’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan this season ended his time at Old Trafford.
He insulted Ten Hag and other Manchester United stars. The former Real Madrid player’s interview comments may have pushed United to let him go.
After moving to Real Madrid in 2009, Antonio Valencia inherited his No. 7 shirt at United. Ecuadorian told Marca:
“His interview was embarrassing.” I felt bad about the way he left, despite his reasons. Hurts.“ I hope his new club succeeds. Best wishes.”
