On Sunday, August 13, at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, the fifth and decisive T20 International match between the West Indies National Cricket Team and the India National Cricket Team was played.
Suryakumar Yadav, who is ranked No. 1 in T20I batting, was denied a six during the first innings of the game because to Powell’s excellent fielding. After dropping the fourth T20I, though, West Indies once more made significant alterations to their starting lineup. Obed McCoy and Odean Smith were replaced by Alzarri Joseph and Roston Chase, respectively, as the Rovman Powell-led team searched for another spin-bowling option.

Powell mentioned they had been having some difficulties in the current T20I series against India during his remarks at the toss. He clarified:
I’m delighted to bowl first. We have had some difficulty. However, consecutive victories make our people happy. It is an excellent surface, in my opinion.
“You simply need to have strategies for various hitters. We simply sat down and thought of our finest possible combination. For McCoy, Joseph, our top bowler, is back.
