In the RR vs. RCB game at Jaipur, the home team lost and set another record for the fewest points scored. The Rajasthan Royals were playing against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, who were almost out of the tournament. Before the match between RR and RCB, Bangalore made two changes to their team. Josh Hazlewood and Wanindu Hasaranga were taken out of the game to make room for Wayne Parnell and Micheal Bracewell.

In the royal clash between the two teams, the guests won the toss and chose to bat first. Early in the game, Virat Kohli was out, but Faf Du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell made sure the team got a good score. In the RR vs. RCB reverse match, the middle order once again let the team down, but Anuj Rawat’s 29 runs in 12 balls helped the team reach 171/5. Mohammad Siraj set a trap for Yashasvi Jaiswal, and he fell into it in the first over.

After the RR vs. RCB match, Bangalore’s run rate goes up a lot.

Also, the Royals’ hitting order fell apart one after the other like a deck of cards. Joe Root and Shimron Hetmyer were the only two hitters who could get to ten or more. The Royal Challengers Bangalore bowlers didn’t do anything to help the hitters, so the team lost with only 59 runs. This was Bangalore’s second win this season in a game between RR and RCB. Also, this was the second time in the history of RR vs. RCB that the Rajasthan team lost with less than 60 runs. After RR’s shocking loss to RCB, RR’s captain, Sanju Samson, praised the RCB bowlers for how well they played.

“I think our top three were getting a lot of runs. We work hard in the powerplay, but it didn’t work today. I don’t think it’s time yet to break down or examine the game. You have to go hard on the power play because you know the ball is getting slower and older. Jaiswal, Jos, and I have always played this way. The RCB bowlers deserve praise for how hard they worked. We’ve all seen some funny things happen in the league stage of the IPL. Sanju Samson said, “We have to stay strong, take a day off, and think about the game in Dharamshala.”
