Three Indian players who have the potential to take the most wickets in the second Bangladeshi test

In the first Test at Chattogram, India beat Bangladesh by 188 runs. The juggernaut now moves to Dhaka, where spinners should fare better.

This will boost Bangladesh’s spinners’ morale as they try to win the series. The visitors have three quality spinners and would like more turn.
This sets up a bowling showdown. Here are three bowlers who could win the second Test for their teams.

1. Taijul Islam
Taijul Islam was the only bright spot for Bangladesh’s bowling attack in the first Test. He took four wickets and made Indian batters work for runs.
If the pitch in Dhaka helps Taijul, he could deliver another strong performance. Indian batters must be wary of the left-arm spinner, as the hosts will rely on him to do most of the damage.

2. Ashwin Ravichandran
Ravichandran Ashwin, one of India’s best off-spinners, had a lacklustre first Test. The veteran batted 50 but was a support spinner for Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel, taking just one wicket.
Ashwin will be eager to return to form in Dhaka. The off-spinner is a great thinker and would have made new plans to counter Bangladesh batters. This could be Ashwin’s 450th Test wicket.

3. Kuldeep Yadav
Kuldeep Yadav made his Test comeback after almost two years due to Ravindra Jadeja’s injury. The wrist-spinner won Player of the Match in Chattogram.
Kuldeep took eight wickets and was almost unplayable as Bangladesh batters couldn’t read his deliveries off the hand. The wrist-spinner proved his worth in red-ball cricket and will be eager to do so again in the second Test.
