Former Delhi cricketer and Virat Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma praised Rohit Sharma’s century against Australia in Nagpur.

The hosts lost wickets from one end. Rohit was composed and scored 120. Rajkumar admired the Indian captain’s ability to adjust his innings tempo.

Virat Kohli’s coach told India News regarding Rohit Sharma:

“Rohit Sharma’s amazing knock will live on. He attacked the bowlers at the proper time and showed he could wait when wickets fell. We are proud of him for captaining centuries in all mediums.”
Rohit Sharma was lauded by former Indian selection Saba Karim. He said:

“Rohit dominates on turning tracks for India. He possesses the shots to score runs and pressure the opponent on such pitches. He recognised he had to adapt to succeed in Tests, and he did so superbly, whether in England’s seaming conditions or on turning tracks at home.”

Australia learned from Rohit Sharma: Saba Karim
Saba Karim too thought the Aussie batsmen looked rushed at the crease. He thinks stories of the pitch being a mudhole influenced them.

Karim again stressed Rohit’s outstanding defence, which was crucial to winning on this pitch. Explanation:

“The track turns slowly enough for batters to modify their shot. Australian batters were rushing because they thought the ball would spit off the surface and the match would end in two days. Rohit Sharma demonstrated how to bat on this pitch.”
India is close to a crushing triumph as Australia struggles to reach three figures in their second innings.
