Watch as Ravi Bishnoi catches Paul Stirling off guard in the first Twenty20 match between India and Ireland

In the opening T20I of the three-match series against the Ireland National Cricket Team at the Malahide in Dublin on Friday, August 18, the 22-year-old leg-spinner for the India National Cricket Team quickly made an impression with the ball by removing Irish captain Paul Stirling.

The only batsman that appeared respectable out in the middle against the Indian bowlers was Ireland captain Stirling, who started the innings for his team. He was, however, unable to contribute a significant innings for his team since he was taken aback by Bishnoi’s miscue on the first ball of the sixth over.

The youthful leg-spinner attempted a massive shot over extra cover after bowling a length ball outside the off-stump. The ball spun in sharply to destroy the stumps because the hitter failed to read the googly. Before being dismissed, Stirling only managed to score 11 runs off of 11 balls, including one four.

Arshdeep, Bumrah, and Prasidh’s onslaught may be too much to handle, according to Ravichandran Ashwin
India chose to bowl first in the game after winning the toss. Injured pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna, who chose to bowl first, made the most of the opportunity by destroying the Irish top order. In the first over, Bumrah dismissed Paul Stirling and Lorcan Tucker while Krishna disposed of George Dockrell and Harry Tector.

Veteran Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin spoke out on X about how Indian bowlers were demolishing Ireland’s batting order, claiming that Irish hitters couldn’t handle the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, and Arshdeep Singh.

“The host side was more than competitive the last time India toured Ireland for T 20 s, but this time I truly doubt there would be a battle. Last time, we defeated 225 by 4 runs while defending!

Arshdeep, Bumrah, and Prasidh’s combined attack might be too much to handle. Ravichandran Ashwin tweeted, “#INDvsIRE.”
