La Liga outfit Celta Vigo are all set to close a deal for a fresh addition to the club’s goalkeeper ranks.
This comes amid confirmation that free agent Ionat Radu will imminently be unveiled as the latest addition to the Celestes’ squad.
Shot-stopper Radu for his part spent the 2nd half of this season plying his trade in Italy, with Venezia.
After Inter Milan agreed to allow the Romanian to depart on a permanent basis, Radu went on to pen a short-term deal with fellow Serie A outfit Venezia.
And the 28-year-old’s ensuing performances evidently proved enough to convince those behind the scenes at the aforementioned Celta Vigo of his talents.
This comes amid confirmation that Radu is on the verge of sealing a move to Balaídos.
As per a report from transfer insider Fabrizio Romano early this week:
‘Ionut Radu signs in today as new Celta Vigo goalkeeper on four year deal valid until June 2029.’
