SOBIESKI — Matt Filippi finished 2-4 with a home run, two runs and one walk for the Sobieski Skis in a 6-0 Victory League B win against the Avon Lakers Sunday, June 8.
Filippi pitched the win and allowed no runs on two hits and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings. Beau Thoma pitched four innings of scoreless relief. He allowed two hits and walked three.

Rylee Czech went 2-4 with a home run, two RBIs and a run. Thoma collected three hits and one run. Hudson Filippi drove in two runs.
NISSWA — Nate DeChaine finished 1-2 with a home run and a walk for the Nisswa Lightning in a 5-3 Victory League B loss to the St. Stephen Steves Sunday, June 8.
Kody Ruedisili collected two hits while Brady Vanek recorded a hit and a run. Sam Jensen pitched 2.2 innings and allowed five runs on two hits and four walks.
Nick Ackerman and Keaton Lingenfelter pitched 4.1 innings of scoreless relief.
FORT RIPLEY — Cooper Schenck finished 2-3 with two RBIs and a run for the Fort Ripley Rebels in a 9-3 Victory League B loss to the Foley Lumberjacks Sunday, June 8.
