Since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce began dating in 2023, they were instantly embraced by both sides of the spectrum. Swifties loved Kelce, and Chiefs fans welcomed Swift with open arms as she attended games to support Kansas City and became a part of Chiefs Kingdom.
Now, in 2025, following their Super Bowl loss, Kelce announced that he’s returning for his 13th season — and some exciting news regarding Swift and Kelce surfaced on Thursday ahead of the upcoming NFL season this fall.
According to PEOPLE, a source close to Swift revealed that she is “really looking forward” to the upcoming Chiefs season. For the first time since the two began dating, her schedule is no longer extremely hectic.
“This fall will be completely different,” the source revealed. “It’s the first season where she’s not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.”
Over the past two years, she completed her record-breaking “Eras Tour,” which spanned 149 shows across 21 countries. Despite the constant travel, she still managed to attend many of Kelce’s games.
But now, with their schedules finally aligning, fans may see much more of the couple together in the months ahead and throughout the NFL season.
“Taylor plans to be at as many of his games as possible,” the source added. “They’ve both had such demanding schedules for so long, so having this stretch of time where things aren’t quite as chaotic feels like a welcome change.”
The source continued, “The past two seasons were a whirlwind — performing across multiple countries, long flights, and squeezing in alone time wherever possible. It wasn’t easy, but they made it work.”
2025 has been a relatively low-key year for the couple. They’ve taken a well-deserved opportunity to step out of the spotlight together.
While Swift recently regained ownership of all her masters, which made national headlines, Kelce has been focused on getting back into football shape as the offseason ramps up — following a career-low 2024 campaign from the future Hall of Fame tight end.
