    Basketball club champs crowned
    Winners in 12 different age divisions were crowned over two weekends of Manitoba Basketball Club Championship play in May and June.
    The championships, run by Basketball Manitoba, were held at the Sport Manitoba courts, the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg. More than 1,300 players on 110 teams took part in the 191 games played.

    Ball kids need for ATP Challenger tourney
    Tennis Manitoba is looking for volunteers aged 10 and up to serve as ball boys and girls for the upcoming ATP Winnipeg Challenger tournament to be held July 6-13 at the National Bank Hub @ West St. Paul.
    No experience is necessary, training will be provided in the weeks leading up to the event. Being a ball kid at this professional tournament will enable volunteers to learn about tournament operations and to experience high-level tennis from the best seat in the house. Tournament gear will be provided to all successful applicants.
