    Transfer news LIVE!
The summer window is back open for business as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool all scramble to get more major signings over the line. Arsenal have received another new update on Benjamin Sesko, while Viktor Gyokeres has reportedly told friends and family is expects to join the Gunners, while the club are said to be exploring a deal for Noni Madueke having seen interest in Rodrygo and Nico Williams go nowhere. Thomas Partey looks set to exit this month, with Martin Zubimendi in London to complete his move.
Chelsea are in talks with all of Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro and Mohammed Kudus, which would see Madueke move down the pecking order, having also made contact over Malick Fofana and Hugo Ekitike. Ousmane Diomande is also being lined up as a defensive target. Liverpool are set to finally announce Florian Wirtz and have booked a medical for Milos Kerkez. They are now plotting a move for Marc Guehi, though that has hit a potential stumbling block, and Alexander Isak remains an unrealistic target.
Manchester United are still pushing to land Bryan Mbeumo, but the Brentford star could now favour a move to Tottenham, and also have interest in Ekitike, as well as Victor Osimhen. Tottenham are weighing moves for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze and West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, while Leeds have seen a huge offer for Rodrigo Muniz rejected by Fulham, who are eyeing Ricardo Pepi. Antony is willing to take a pay cut to secure a move away from Manchester United this summer.
The winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Real Betis and is keen to return to the Spanish club, with Ruben Amorim making it clear Antony is not in his plans.
The Manchester Evening News report that Antony is prepared to take a 30% wage to leave United on a permanent deal.
United need a fee of £32.58m to avoid a loss under the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability regulations.
Talks are continuing between Brentford and Keith Andrews, who is the leading candidate to become their new manager.
The Bees are searching for a new head coach after Thomas Frank — who had been in post since 2018 — left last week to replace Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham.
Standard Sport understands that Brentford’s set-piece coach Andrews is the front-runner to replace the Dane. He and the club’s hierarchy continue to discuss details and there is growing optimism that a deal can be agreed.
If he were to get the job, it would be the ex-Republic of Ireland international’s first head coaching role.
Emiliano Martinez is determined to secure a move to Manchester United this summer.
The goalkeeper wants to leave Aston Villa and United are his preferred destination as he wants to stay in England.
United must first sell Andre Onana, but The Sun report that Martinez is desperate to make the switch.
Atletico Madrid have reportedly opened talks with Lucas Digne, putting into doubt an expected move for Andy Robertson.
The Spanish club have been strongly linked with the Liverpool left-back over the last couple of weeks, with the suggestion that Robertson was open to the move.
However, Football Insider report that Atletico are now looking at Digne and are preparing an £8m bid.
Ilkay Gundogan is being targeted for a summer move by Galatasaray.
Football journalist Nicolò Schira claims that the Turkish club have offered the Man City midfielder a two-year contract, with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
Gundogan is not believed to be pushing for the move, but the length of the contract could be appealing to the 34-year-old.
Arsenal could turn to Christian Norgaard as they consider potential replacements for Thomas Partey.
The Ghanaian is out of contract at the end of the month and talks have stalled over a new deal.
The Mirror report that Arsenal are now looking at Brentford captain Norgaard as an option if Partey does leave this summer.
Manchester United are in talks with Atalanta over a move for goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi.
Sky Sport Italy report that United have received an enquiry from Monaco for Andre Onana and are already eyeing up potential replacements.
It is believed that Atalanta want around £43m for 24-year-old Carnesecchi.
Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo has been rewarded for a superb season with a new three-year contract.
The deal will see him remain at the City Ground until at least 2028.
The 51-year-old guided Forest to a seventh-place finish in the Premier League last season, securing European qualification for the first time since the 1995-96 season.
Nuno said: “I am delighted to be able to continue our journey at this fantastic football club.
“Since we arrived at Forest, we have worked extremely hard to create a special bond between the players, the fans and everyone at the Club, which helped us achieve great things last season.
“I would like to thank our owner, Mr Marinakis, for his constant support and backing. It is important to me to share a strong relationship with our ownership and we have thoroughly enjoyed working together ever since I arrived at Forest.
“Now is the time to work harder than ever as we strive for more special memories together.”
Marc Guehi will only move to Liverpool if he is convinced he will be a guaranteed starter.
With Jarell Quansah joining Bayer Leverkusen on a £34m deal, it had been expected that the Reds would put that money towards a bid for Crystal Palace captain Guehi.
However, while that remains a possibility, Sky Sports report that Guehi will not join only as a squad player and needs sufficient assurances from Liverpool.
Enzo Maresca views Ousmane Diomande as a priority signing this summer.
The Sporting centre-back has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Manchester United both previously interested.
According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea are currently leading the race for Diomande but are unwilling to pay the £69m release clause.
They are in talks over structuring the deal to bring the fee down.
