Yash Dayal Case: Family Knew Of His 'Several' Affairs, Victim Attended IPL Final, Says Report – News18

More details have emerged in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowler Yash Dayal’s alleged sexual harassment case. The victim, who accused the cricketer of ‘mental and physical assault’ in Uttar Pradesh, has revealed that Dayal cheated on her with ‘several’ women during their four-and-a-half-year-long relationship, even as his family continued to promise her that they would get married one day.
According to Bhaskar English, the woman, a former counsellor in an ed-tech company, said she met Dayal via social media in late 2020. After their supposed first meeting was in Prayagraj, she claimed to have stayed at his house several times and been close to the family. She also attended the IPL 2022 Final at the Narendra Modi Stadium with the family — the report includes photos of the night — when his old team Gujarat Titans, won.
The victim also said that another girl who was reportedly seeing Dayal reached out to her and ‘shared proof of his affairs’, but the family, despite being aware of it, ‘kept giving her hope of marriage’.
“Three other girls have contacted her and shared similar experiences," the report said. “She says Yash used the same app on their phones to order household items. She found out that he stayed in a Lucknow hotel on 7 June and ordered objectionable items."
The report added that the couple’s relationship deteriorated after a couple of years, but the victim didn’t call it off and ‘suffered’ a lot to collect evidence against him. She has since submitted photos, screenshots, and her statement to Ghaziabad police, who have sent a notice to Dayal asking him to record his side.
The victim also claimed that she went on a family trip with Dayal in 2022, and attended a RCB player’s wedding in February this year with the fast-bowler.

The family has denied all claims. Dayal hasn’t spoken publicly since.
“Power, money and fame are being used to cover this up," the woman alleged in the report. “But I have full faith in the law. “I could have walked away, but how would I know he was cheating? He never showed it. I left it to God, but when his family started speaking badly about me, I decided to take legal steps."
