"I think Jasprit Bumrah is the greatest bowler ever across all 3 formats"- Former Australian captain showers praise on Indian fast bowler – Sportskeeda

Former Australian skipper Michael Clarke has showered praise on Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah for his consistency across all three formats of cricket. Clarke labelled Bumrah as the greatest three-format bowler ever.
Speaking on the Beyond23 Cricket Podcast, Michael Clarke reviewed the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy series between India and Australia. Clarke spoke about the Man of the Series Jasprit Bumrah, who scalped 32 wickets in nine innings for the visitors.
The former Australian captain said that he always prefers to pick Man of the Series from the winning team, but Bumrah deserved the award in his view.
Clarke further mentioned that among the bowlers who have played Tests, ODIs and T20Is, Bumrah is the greatest one.
Notably, Bumrah is the world number one bowler in ICC Test Rankings and ranked sixth in the ODI format. Last year, he won the Man of the Tournament award in the T20 World Cup 2024.
During the same podcast, Michael Clarke opined that Bumrah is more valuable to the Indian team than Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma right now. Here’s what the former Australian captain said:
Bumrah suffered an injury during the final Test of the BGT series. There is a question mark over his availability for the upcoming series between India and England.
