IND vs ENG Old Trafford Weather Update: Rain To Rescue India On Day 5? – Cricket.com

The Indian team, after being in all sorts of trouble at 0/2, trailing by 311 runs in the first innings against England in the fourth Test at Old Trafford, Manchester, managed to pull things back in the last two sessions of Day 4, July 26 (Saturday).
Skipper Shubman Gill (78) and most senior batter KL Rahul (87) are at the crease, having already added 174 for the third wicket. They would look to make sure that India don’t lose the game on Day 5, the last day of the Test.
But will the weather also assist the Indians in their fight for survival in the series and a draw in this particular game? We try to find out.

According to BBC Weather, there are plenty of chances of rainfall on the fifth day of the Test. Light rain and gentle breeze will be the order of the day. The maximum temperature of the day will be 19 degrees Celsius while the minimum will be 12.
Even if England manage to get at least 40–50 overs in the day, they can try their best to get India all-out as there will be cloud cover throughout the day on the ground.
