England captain Ben Stokes and his players are being called "petulant" and "disrespectful" across the cricket world after the fourth Test against India ended in fiery scenes.
Indian captain Shubman Gill refused to end the match in Manchester when it was clear it was headed for a draw on day five.
England piled on 669 in their only innings and failed to bowl India out twice, and it got to the point a draw was the only possible result.

As is cricket tradition, opposing captains can come together and opt to end the match early when a winning result can't be reached.
Stokes and his players wanted to finish the match but Gill declined, instead leaving his batters Ravindra Jadeja (107 not out) and Washington Sundar (101 not out) in the middle to pursue their centuries.

Stokes was clearly fuming at being told to leave his players out on the field, and got into a fiery back and forth with the two batters mid-pitch.
The captain took his main bowlers off and instead asked batter Harry Brook to bowl awful donkey drops to Jadeja and Sundar.
"You're going to get a Test hundred against Harry Brook?" a livid Stokes asked Jadeja at one point.
Jadeja replied, "what do you want me to do, just walk off?".
Another England player could be heard saying, "if you wanted a hundred you should have batted like it earlier", while Zak Crawley said, "just shake our hands, it's done".
When Jadeja belted Brook over his head to the boundary to reach his century, Brook tried to disrupt the celebration by offering his hand to non-striker Sundar.

Instead Sundar ignored it and went to celebrate with Jadeja. Sundar then went on to reach his own century shortly after.
"The England players are not applauding the century here, they are standing with arms folded," former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar said in commentary.
"I'd ask them to keep batting, and keep the (England) team on the field for the full 15 overs."
A video posted to social media following the match appeared to show Stokes refusing to shake the hands of Sundar or Jadeja once Gill finally declared.
Across social media Stokes and his players were torn up for their attitude.
The skipper explained his feelings in his post match press conference.
"It got to that point where there was obviously only one result left on the table and I wasn't going to be risking any of my frontline bowlers, especially with a quick turnaround," Stokes said.
"That partnership was massive, they played incredibly well and I don't think there would have been too much more satisfaction at walking off 100 not out than 80 or 90."
Gill was full of praise for Jadeja and Sundar.
“This is no less than a win for us, having (batted) around 300 runs off the lead, our batsmen put on a great display,” Gill told the BBC.
It has been a fiery series so far and England leads it 2-1 heading into a blockbuster fifth and final match at The Oval, starting Thursday.
