UConn stomped Xavier in its latest outing, improving to 5-0 in the Big East.
The Huskies handled business 81-27 with a 23-point outing from Azzi Fudd. It’s the first time Fudd has surpassed 20 points since March 2023. She’s dealt with injuries since but seems to be back in form as the Huskies look to make another deep NCAA run.

It’s early, but UConn has made itself known to be a powerhouse in women’s college hoops. Paige Bueckers remains one of the best players in the country and Sarah Strong has lived up to her hype as the No. 1 recruit in her class.
Georgetown is next on the schedule. UConn won the first matchup 79-44 to kick off the Big East schedule. Bueckers scored 24 and Strong added 17 points and 14 rebounds.
The Hoyas shot just 26.3 percent from the field in the first matchup, but they’ll have home-court advantage this time around. That said, it may not matter against the 14-2 Huskies.
