Prasidh Krishna strikes again, dismissing Shashwat Rawat for a well-made 104 (126 balls), caught by KL Shrijith. Baroda now 244/6, needing 38 runs off the remaining 24 balls.
Baroda are struggling now at 206/5 in 40.5 overs, as they need 76 runs in 55 balls with a required run rate climbing to 8.29. Shashwat Rawat is fighting hard with an unbeaten 91 off 112 balls, but the pressure is mounting as the wickets have slowed Baroda’s momentum.
Karnataka strike two crucial blows:
Krunal Pandya (30 off 28) was dismissed by Vasuki Koushik, caught behind by KL Shrijith.
Vishnu Solanki (1 off 5) fell LBW to Shreyas Gopal, who has been brilliant with figures of 9.5-0-38-2.
Baroda are making steady progress in their chase, currently at 148/2 in 27.5 overs, Shashwat Rawat is leading the charge with a composed 62* off 76 balls, while skipper Krunal Pandya is supporting him with 9* off 10.

The good Atit Sheth-Shashwat Rawat partnership has turned into a brilliant one for Baroda as they are now in control of the chase with nine wickets in hand. With Hardik Pandya, Krunal still yet to come, they now are the favourites to go through unless Karnataka find inspiration from somewhere.
Karnataka have finally broken through but Baroda have been brilliant since the fall of their first wicket. Atit Sheth and Shashwat Rawat are built a small partnership and will look to find the right balance between aggression and composure in the next 10 overs of play.
Baroda are up and running in pursuit of their 282-run target. Shashwat Rawat and NA Rathwa open the batting and have started off in a composed manner. For Karnataka, Koushik and Prasidh take the new ball.
Karnataka, riding on Devdutt Padikkal’s sensational hundred and Aneesh KV’s composed fifty, have reached 281 for the loss of eight wickets in 50 overs. For Baroda, Raj Limbani and Atit Sheth have taken three wickets each.
Raj Limbani has picked up three wickets and has given Baroda much needed, and crucial breakthroughs, bringing them back into the game. With five overs to go, Karnataka have notched up 230 for the loss of six.
Baroda get another wicket, and this time yet another well-set batter in Devdutt Padikkal who goes back after a brilliant 100. Smaran and KL Shrijith are in the middle, and with 11 overs to go, Karnataka have scored 201 for the loss of three.
After a well-made fifty, Aneesh KV has go go after Raj Limbani gives Baroda a crucial, crucial breakthrough. The talented Smaran has joined Devdutt Padikkal and with 19 overs to go and eight wickets in hand, Karnataka will be hoping to get over the 300 mark.
This is now some serious batting from Karnataka. Padikkal has raced away to 78*, while Aneesh KV has reached his fifty. They are going just under six runs per over and with nine wickets in hand, have a brilliant platform to go big.
Devdutt Padikkal is back into the Karnataka set-up and is back with a fifty. Solid knock and Karnataka move along. His partner, Aneesh KV has also scored 35 and things are looking good for the Mayank Agarwal-led side.
Devdutt Padikkal and Aneesh KV have calmed the nerves of the Karnataka dressing room after they lost their skipper early and are now going at a decent rate and would eye to build on it. Whereas Baroda will be hopeful of breaking this partnership.
Karnakata lose their skipper Mayank Agarwal for just fix as Meriwala draws first blood for Baroda. The youngster Aneesh KV joins Padikkal and will eye to take the scoreboard forward. Baroda have been bowling wicket taking lines and look in fine rhythm.
And we are underway at the Moti Bagh Stadium, with Mayank Agarawal and Devdutt Padikkal opening the batting for Karnataka. For Baroda, Lukeman Meriwala and Raj Lumbani start proceedings with the new ball.
