In a recent interaction at Middlesex Cricket, the Kiwi legend was asked to pick a perfect batting lineup based on various cricketing shots.
When asked about the best puller in cricket, Williamson picked former Australia skipper Ricky Ponting. While many expected the Kiwi to pick Rohit Sharma, who is arguably one of the best players of the pull shot in modern-day cricket, Williamson decided otherwise.

Rohit, on the other hand, has his own style of playing the shot. The Indian batter pulls the ball from the front foot — a treat for many cricket fans. He is widely regarded as one of the most effortless exponents of the stroke.
Rohit is all set to return to the field for India after a more than six-month absence. The former India skipper will play against Australia in a three-match ODI series starting October 19.
The Mumbaikar last played for India in the Finals of the ICC Champions Trophy, where he led his side to the title with a wonderful half-century and was awarded the ‘player of the match’ award.
