What an amazing start for Qatar. They have absolutely ruled the powerplay here to put Nepal under pressure. Imal Liyanage is on fire and Nepal will need a wicket here.

Nepal set up a 148-run target for Qatar. Gulshan Jha hits 16 from eight balls with two sixes and apart from that there were not many fireworks from the Nepali side at the death. An underwhelming end. Rohit Paudel top scores with 58. Mirza Mohammed Baig takes three wickets.
Just 12 runs off the last two overs and Nepal have lost the wicket of a set Dipendra Singh Airee. Rohit Paudel will now have to go for some big shots. Mohammad Aadil Alam is the new man in.
Rohit Paudel brings up his half-century. He is easily Nepal’s most consistent batter and he has once again put his hand up to steer his side out of a tricky situation. Dipendra Singh Airee too is giving him good company and now Nepal will definitely aim over 160.
We are halfway done with this innings and Nepal are not finding scorign runs easy on this slowish surface in Al Amerat. Rohit Paudel is still in the middle so Nepal would hope he can get a big one tonight. Dipendra Singh Airee is acompanying him and he too has the power to launch sixes.
Qatar captain Mirza Mohammed Baig has struck twice in his three overs to keep Nepal under pressure in the powerplay. Just 33 off the powerplay for Nepal and they have lost both their openers.
11 runs from the second over and Nepal are underway. Kushal Bhartel and Aasif Sheikh both hit a boundary each to break the shackles after just two runs came from the opening over.
