India’s Ranji Trophy 2025-26 season is finally underway! Round One, Day 1 promises fresh rivalries, new heroes, and classic red-ball drama. Buckle up, it’s going to be a long, thrilling ride across India’s cricketing heartlands. Stay tuned for all the live action.
For cricket enthusiasts wanting to catch every moment, the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 is widely accessible. Live telecasts will be available on the Star Sports Network across India. Streaming fans can follow the action live on the JioHotstar app and website.

Elite Groups (4 groups × 8 teams): Each team plays 7 league matches. Top 2 teams from each group advance to the quarter-finals.
Plate Group (6 teams): Top 2 teams play a final to decide promotion to the Elite division next season.
Relegation: The bottom-ranked Elite team is relegated to the Plate group for the following season.
Match Duration: Group stage matches are 4 days long; knockout matches are 5 days.
