The tournament is designed for television viewing and entertainment, and is played across small venues, which promotes high-scoring games. 
India will face arch-rivals Pakistan once again on the cricket field in the tournament after they were clubbed in Pool C of the Hong Kong International Sixes 2025 tournament.
In their last meeting in the 2024 edition, courtesy of Asif Ali’s 55(14), Pakistan chased 120 runs against India in just five overs in 2024.
Following the controversy-laden Asia Cup, tensions have escalated between the cricketing powerhouses and now all eyes will be on how the Dinesh Karthik-led India perform.
