Boland knocks over bunny as Konstas’ biggest flaw exposed yet again: Shield Wrap – fox sports

Victorian seamer Scott Boland has knocked over his bunny yet again, dismissing New South Wales opener Sam Konstas for a sixth time in the Sheffield Shield on day two at the SCG.
The 20-year-old, dropped from Australia’s Test side last week, was bowled through the gate for 12 after leaving a gap between bat and pad, with his susceptiblility to inswinging deliveries still a glaring flaw. He didn’t manage a boundary during his 59-ball stay at the crease.
The Blues were 3-48 after 24 overs, with captain Steve Smith unbeaten in the middle.
Earlier, the Victorians were bowled out for 382 after NSW spinner Nathan Lyon cleaned up the tail, finishing with 4-82 from 29.1 overs.

Elsewhere in the Sheffield Shield, Australian wicketkeeper Alex Carey looks in fine touch ahead of the Ashes, cracking a rapid half-century on day two of the Sheffield Shield clash against Tasmania in Hobart.
Resuming overnight on 25, the South Australian raced towards his fifty in just 47 deliveries, later dismissed by Tigers seamer Gabe Bell following a rain delay.
The tourists were 5-145 at lunch, still trailing by 64 runs.
Across in Perth, the Sheffield Shield clash between Western Australia and Queensland is scheduled to get underway at the WACA at 1.30pm AEDT.
