Maple Leafs' Sammy Blais: Put on waivers – CBS Sports

Blais was placed on waivers Wednesday.
Toronto also reassigned Jacob Quillan to AHL Toronto so that Auston Matthews and Nicolas Roy could be activated off injured reserve ahead of Wednesday’s game against Columbus. Blais has a goal, three points and 28 hits in eight appearances with the Maple Leafs in 2025-26. He’s expected to head to the minors if he goes unclaimed.
