There is some good news from the Sevens Stadium, the second semi-final will finally go ahead between PAK U19 and BAN U19. It will be a 27-overs-a-side game for Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Pakistan has won the toss and opted to chase.
Incase the match is a wash out and there’s no further play, then the Indian team will reach the final of the U19 Asia Cup due to their superior record in the group stage where it topped the group.
Indian team is still in the team hotel! As for their opponents, the Sri Lankans are in the middle, playing with a football.
“As coaches, we want players to have mind on the game and not switch off even if the game is not happening. The match can start at any time. We tell them to not let their guards down. We ask them to keep half their mind on the game. We’ll get them over to the ground from the team hotel when we hear something from the umpires. There is a lot of nervous evergy that’s burnt here,” India coach Hrishikesh Kanitkar.
The rain seems to have relented in Dubai, but there will be a delay. The umpires were in the middle for pitch inspection.
