    Fellin set a new program record and NCAA provisional qualifying time to win the 60-meter dash at last weekend’s Bucknell Bison Open & Multi. Fellin, a junior from Sheppton, Pa., who already set a share of the school record with a 6.80 at Alvernia two weeks prior, ran 6.83 in prelims to earn the top seed for the finals. He threw down a blistering 6.76 to win the event final over teammate Daron Haggans by .25 seconds, establishing a new program record and his second NCAA provisional time of the day. Fellin’s season- and career-best time currently ranks 26th in NCAA DII and second in the PSAC this season.

    Muthler broke the Lock Haven men’s track and field program record in the Heptathlon to headline a standout day for the Bald Eagles at the two-day Bison Open & Multi. He scored 4975 points to break a 14-year program record in the heptathlon for the Bald Eagles. Muthler sealed the record and event victory by running a 2:36.24 in the 1000m, which broke a Bucknell facility record by eight seconds. Muthler’s score is a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and NCAA provisional mark, ranking in the top-20 in the country. Muthler’s hep high jump of 6-5 is also a PSAC qualifier and is ranked No. 14 all-time in program history.
     
    Emily Chmiel, co-NCAA leader in double-doubles, recorded back-to-back double-double performances this week, including a near 20-point, 20-rebound game to open the week. For the week, she averaged 18.5 points and 16 rebounds per game, including six offensive rebounds per game. Chmiel also tallied one block and one steal in each contest.
    Alana Robinson had a monster week on the defensive end were she racked up 12 steals and four blocks in just two games. Against West Chester, Robinson recorded a career-high nine steals, which is the most for any player in the conference this season and is the second highest total in Bald Eagles’ program history. The program record of 14 was set during the 2008-09 season. Robinson also blocked three shots, dished out a game-high six assists, pulled in six rebounds and netted eight points. In the Bald Eagles’ victory over Bloomsburg, Robinson scored15 points, eight rebounds, three steals and a block.
    Helene Cowan led the Griffins to a pair of PSAC West wins.  She averaged 16.5 points per game.  She added 13 assists, 9 rebounds and 9 steals. Cowan nearly had a double double in the win over Slippery Rock with 16 points, 9 assists and 8 steals.  
    Mia Kalich posted a pair of double doubles in a pair of PSAC West wins. She averaged 12 points and 11 rebounds per contests. Mia added 10 steals, 6 assists and 4 blocks. Kalich was 11-13 from the field in the two wins.

    Griffin helped lead the Warriors to a 2-0 week, averaging 16 points, 6.5 rebounds, and three assists while shooting 57.1% from the floor. He played a key role in the team’s win over Shepherd, the No. 2 team in the PSAC East entering Saturday’s action, hitting the game-winning three with 2.5 seconds remaining.
    Bengel had an impressive showing in the Huskies’ 1-1 week, tallying 16 rebounds, 10 steals, three blocks, four assists, and 41 points. The Erie-native also set the school record in single-game steals on Saturday with eight in the Huskies’ 89-78 win over Shippensburg. The senior lead the team with 22 points, eight steals, and seven rebounds in that contest, and then in Bloomsburg’s triple-overtime thriller against Lock Haven on Wednesday, he posted 19 points, nine rebounds, three blocks, and two assists. He did so in an effort that saw the senior guard play the fourth most minutes in an NCAA men’s basketball contest this season (52:25). 

    Nelson helped the Golden Eagles to a major PSAC West upset on the road on Wednesday night against Gannon, as Clarion beat the first place Golden Knights 83-79, and was a key piece in Clarion’s 94-93 shootout loss to Edinboro just 48 hours later on the road. The point guard played 76 of a possible 80 minutes in the span of three days, shooting 51.9 percent from the field and averaging 19.0 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game in that span. He went 7-of-11 from the field – including 4-of-6 from three-point range – against the Golden Knights, scoring 22 points and recording four steals. Against the Fighting Scots on Friday Nelson had 16 points, six assists, and a steal.
    Evran averaged a double-double again this week: averaging 12.5 points and 13.0 rebounds in a pair of PSAC West victories. Against Slippery Rock, Evran tallied 10 points, 18 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block. It was his 16th double-double of the season. In the contest with Clarion,  Evran scored 15 points to go with eight rebounds, a block, and a steal. Evran is now the nation’s second-leading rebounder, averaging 13.1 rebounds per game, but leads all of Division II in offensive boards with 5.42 per game.
    In last weekend’s meet against Felician, Renshof swam the anchor leg of ESU’s program and pool record 800 freestyle relay (time of 7:42.77) that broke an 11-year-old school record by 10 seconds. She also came within .02 seconds of breaking a school record in the 100 yard IM, finishing with a time of 1:00.56 in a time trial. Renshof also swam the final leg of the Warriors’ first-place 200 freestyle relay, which finished in 1:38.27.
    At Saturday’s Bison Invite, Ferlick paced the Raiders in the 100-yard freestyle (48.21), the 100-yard butterfly (53.79), and 50-yard freestyle (21.76). He also swam the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.50) and swam freestyle on the 200-yard medley relay (1:37.25) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:26.83). SU was the only D2 school competing at the D1 meet.
    In three PSAC duals last week, Andrew Vogelbacher picked up a three victories. The 174-pounder took on Cole Lang from Shippensburg and won by major decision, 11–2. Vogelbacher had the upper hand early after a takedown and limited action in the second period set up an action-packed third period. Vogelbacher exploded out of an escape and shot for another takedown. Wrestling out of bounds, Vogelbacher opted to start in the neutral position to give Lang an escape point but added another takedown to earn the team four points. To follow up that victory, Vogelbacher defeated two quality opponents in back-to-back PSAC duals. In the match against Pitt-Johnstown, Vogelbacher clinched a 4–2 decision over Anthony Salopek. In the second match against Seton Hill, Vogelbacher won by decision, 7–3, over Kane Kettering.
