Rashid Khan falls as well. Hitting the ball straight into the hands of Glenn Maxwell, Rashid departs after an innings which showed promise. After 46 overs, Afghanistan’s score reads 238/8.

Finally! The breakthrough that Australia were looking for. Spencer Johnson strikes once more, dismissing the well set Sediqullah Atal on a score of 85 runs in 95 deliveries. Afghanistan’s score reads 159/4 after 31.2 overs.
Sediqullah Atal has been looking in fine touch against Australia so far. With Afghanistan’s score reading 145-3 after 29 overs, both batters will hope to put in a good showing and post a huge total on the scoreboard in the first innings.
Sediqullah slams Maxwell all over the ropes to get to his fifty. A 64-ball half-ton for the youngster. He was struggling early on and is now looking good.

Australia’s Spender Johnson has bowler two brilliant overs for Australia so far. With the ball showing some movement, the pacer is looking to trouble the Afghan batters right from the get go. However, the two wide fours could prove to be costly for the Men in Yellow.
