The second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs continues Saturday as the New York Knicks have the chance to put the reigning champion Boston Celtics on the brink of elimination. The Knicks carry a 2-0 lead into Game 3 at Madison Square Garden after making two huge comebacks in Boston for a pair of shocking wins. Saturday’s schedule also sees the Golden State Warriors host the Minnesota Timberwolves. That series is tied, 1-1, but the Dubs will be without Stephen Curry (hamstring strain) for the second game in a row.
The Denver Nuggets and Cleveland Cavaliers were winners on Friday night. The Cavs picked up a crucial win on the road over the Indiana Pacers to cut their series deficit to 2-1. The Nuggets, meanwhile, re-took the series lead against the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder with an overtime victory.
It’s been an upset-heavy second round so far, but the Thunder remain the title favorites (+175 at DraftKings). The Celtics, despite being down 0-2 against the Knicks, have the second-best title odds and are still the favorites to win the East (+150).
