Jasprit Bumrah has taken 31 wickets in the ongoing 2024-25 edition of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He needs just one more wicket to surpass legendary Bishan Singh Bedi for the record of taking most wickets in a Test series for India away from home.
“It was a little bit tough pitch. The ball was doing off the wicket quite a bit. I wouldn’t say 185 is a par-score. But I think anything over 220-250 would be a par-score,” Rishabh Pant, who top scored for India with 40, says after the day’s play.
Australia pacer Scott Boland picks up his 50th Test wicket on day one of the fifth Test against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) to join an elite list of players. Boland is the first Australian in 92 years to pick up 50 Test wickets at an average under 20.00.
