Spruce Creek sat just a few points away from the state semifinals, falling to Wellington 4-3 in the Class 4A quarterfinals. The Hawks reigned as Five Star Conference, district and regional champs, and they were the only Volusia-Flagler girls tennis program to make the state field.
Naturally, they’re well-represented on the All-Area teams.
Seabreeze’s top doubles duo also earned their way to states by capturing a district championship. The pairing was eliminated in the semifinals of the individual draw.
