Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) take on the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final match of the Indian Premier League 2025 on Tuesday, June 3, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The two teams have been the best performers in this season of the IPL, and they deservingly made it through to the final stages with a dominant display of cricket.
Punjab finished top of the table with 19 points to their name. Bengaluru, on the other hand, finished second with the same number of points but with a slightly lower net run-rate than PBKS.
The two sides met in Qualifier 1, which saw RCB emerge victorious by 7 wickets on a tricky Mullanpur pitch. PBKS came back from the early setback and defeated the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in Qualifier 2 to seal their place in the finals of the tournament.
As both the teams eye their first-ever IPL trophy, The Sporting News takes a look at the details ahead of the much-anticipated clash and gives you all the best betting advice.

The two teams have faced each other on 36 different occasions, with both of them winning 18 games each.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru: Phil Salt, Virat Kohli, Mayank Agarwal, Rajat Patidar (c), Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Romario Shepherd, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yash Dayal, Josh Hazlewood. Impact: Suyash Sharma.
Punjab Kings: Prabhsimran Singh, Shreyas Iyer (c), Priyansh Arya, Josh Inglis (wk), Nehal Wadhera, Shashank Singh, Marcus Stoinis, Azmatullah Omarzai, Harpreet Brar, Vyshak Vijaykumar, Arshdeep Singh. Impact: Yuzvendra Chahal.
Both the teams have done well so far this season, as both their batting and bowling lineups have clicked together at the right time.
On a usually batting-friendly pitch, expect the likes of Priyansh Arya, Prabhsimran Singh, Shreyas Iyer and Nehak Wadhera to score big for PBKS.
Shashank Singh has played quite a few explosive knocks towards the tail end of the innings; expect him to perform on the big stage once again, and you can also back him to be the top runscorer for PBKS at 14/1 with bet365 if you fancy he’ll rise to the occasion.
Arshdeep Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal will shoulder the responsibility of taking crucial wickets at important junctures, and one can expect them to weave their magic again.
RCB, on the other hand, will look forward to the likes of Phil Salt and Virat Kohli to provide explosive starts. Kohli is seeking his first IPL title and can be had at 3/1 with Sky Bet to be the top batsman on either team.
Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma are expected to hold the mantle in the mid-overs, with Tim David and Romario Shepherd expected to play handy cameos towards the end.
Josh Hazlewood, Yash Dayal, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have bowled brilliantly this season for RCB, and one can expect them to try out their variations on a batting-friendly pitch to good effect.
Considering overall factors, RCB seem to have the upper hand in this clash, and you can take them at 8/11 with Sky Bet to win the match.
