Coco Gauff (2) has booked her in place in the 2025 French Open semifinals after winning in three sets (6-7, 6-4, 6-1) against Madison Keys (7).
She will take on home hope Loïs Boisson for a place in Saturday’s final, after the French wild card stunned 18-year-old favorite and No. 6 seed Mirra Andreeva 7-6(6), 6-3 on Court Philippe-Chatrier.
On the men’s side, Jannik Sinner (1) is in action against Alexander Bublik before Novak Djokovic (6) vs. Alexander Zverev (3) later today.

    Sinner *5-1 Bublik
Breaking news! Alexander Bublik wins a game.
He raises his fist to the crowd with a beaming smile. The spectators at Court Philippe-Chatrier give a cheery applause.
Jannik Sinner faced a set point. But it was Bublik's serve that bailed him out, firing a 210 km/h unreturnable blast.
The Italian will serve for the first set now.

    Sinner 5-0* Bublik
Alexander Bublik had a break point opportunity but couldn't capitalize. This is what Jannik Sinner does. He is so dynamite on the clutch points.
The Italian escapes with his overpowering serve and ground strokes to win his FIFTH (yes fifth) consecutive game.
How will the Kazakh respond? Will we see a bagel?
    Stay tuned.
    Sinner *4-0 Bublik
This is an absolute shellacking. Jannik Sinner is now up a double break on Alexander Bublik.
Nothing much the Kazakh can do at the moment to stymie the world No. 1. The Italian is on another level.
    Sinner 3-0* Bublik
Jannik Sinner may have sprayed a few unforced errors in that game. But it was still a dominant hold for the world No. 1.
As you saw on that game point, the Italian is just punishing Alexander Bublik for standing so far behind the baseline with his punitive forehand. It's all Sinner to start this men's quarterfinal at Roland Garros.
    Sinner *2-0 Bublik
That's the dream start for the world No. 1. Jannik Sinner just plasters a deep cross court forehand that just lands in to break Alexander Bublik's serve.
I don't know what the unseeded Kazakh could have done there. Too good from the three-time slam champion.
    Sinner 1-0* Bublik
The dream start for the world No. 1. Jannik Sinner won all of his first serve points and converted four of the first five of the match.
Your turn to serve Mr. Bublik…

    Sinner *0-0 Bublik
Jannik Sinner serves the first ball of this men's quarterfinal match. He immediately tosses in an unreturnable serve to win the first point of the match.
Some good stats from Opta on that previous women’s quarterfinal:
Loïs Boisson is the third player since 1980 to reach the semifinals at their maiden women’s singles Grand Slam main draw appearance, after Monica Seles (Roland Garros 1989) and Jennifer Capriati (Roland Garros 1990).
She is also the first French player to reach a women’s singles Grand Slam semifinal since Caroline Garcia at the US Open 2022, and the first at Roland Garros since Marion Bartoli in 2011.
Jannik Sinner and Alexander Bublik are warming up on Court Philippe-Chatrier. The roof is now open before this men's quarterfinal contest.
Sinner is 34-2 in majors since the start of last year. Bublik is in his first slam quarterfinal.
Who will advance to the semis? Settle in to find out tennis fans.
Tennis fans are dreaming of the possibility of a Novak Djokovic vs. Jannik Sinner semifinal at Roland Garros.
Both men need to win their quarterfinal matches today for this dream to become a reality.
Both Sinner and Djokovic have winning records over their opponents. The Italian is 3-1 against Alexander Bublik, while 24-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic leads 8-5 over Alexander Zverev.
If it happens, it would be Sinner and Djokovic’s first meeting at Roland Garros.
The final two men’s quarterfinals are on tap today at Roland Garros.
It begins with world No. 1 Jannik Sinner looking to extend his recent hard court Grand Slam dominance to the clay, as he faces unseeded Alexander Bublik. That match begins at 7:20 a.m. ET.
Then in the night session, Novak Djokovic will continue his bid to win Slam No. 25 as he squares off against No. 3 seed Alexander Zverev, in what should be a close match. That contest kicks off at 2:15 p.m. ET.
On the line for all four players is a berth in the French Open semifinals.

…at least, that is the case for Aryna Sabalenka who booked her semifinal place yesterday.
Today’s women’s quarterfinalists will be looking to emulate her and she has been working hard on a routine — both on match days and on days off — without letting that fall into superstition or obsession, as she progresses through the rounds of the French Open.
That plus a willingness to obliterate any opponent in her path on the way to what she hopes will be her first Roland Garros title, could well set her up for success. Up next? A tasty clash with Iga Świątek. Sabalenka told TNT Sports:
💬 “I’ll have the same breakfast on the day when I’m playing. Avocado on toast with two fried eggs. I don’t care (who I play next). Whoever makes it to the semis means they are playing good tennis. I want to compete and I want to win.”
And breathe. It wasn’t always pretty, but we had two captivating women’s singles quarterfinals there.
And it leaves us with this semifinal lineup tomorrow:
What a day it will be in store.
Now, let’s switch over our attentions to the men’s singles and the remaining two quarterfinals there — with both on the way next…
We need to keep making the most of calling Loïs Boisson the world No. 361 — because it is not going to last much longer.
Boisson is now guaranteed a fresh, career-high ranking of world No. 68.
And in truth, she looks like a much better player than that right now too.
It looks like Loïs Boisson isn’t entirely sure when her semifinal is.
It’s tomorrow, Loïs. Same time. Same place.
And awaiting her will be the No. 2 seed, Coco Gauff.
Loïs Boisson’s expression remains that of a tennis player utterly bamboozled by her own form, talent and achievement.
The first question on court for her post-match interview isn’t really a question. It’s more of a thank you statement.

Boisson flops onto the clay, laying on her back with her hands on her head.
I’m not even sure she can believe what is going on here.
Mirra Andreeva is waiting for a swift handshake and well done, but she soon departs the court on what will have been a difficult, galling experience for any player — never mind an 18-year-old.
    FINAL: Boisson 7-6(6), 6-3 Andreeva
SHE’S DONE IT! LOÏS BOISSON IS THE FRENCH OPEN SEMIFINALIST IN STRAIGHT SETS!
    Incredible.
    Andreeva 6-7(6), *3-5 Boisson
A foot long of the baseline from Andreeva and it’s 0-30. She’s looking increasingly annoyed at the crowd again.
A crowd that is waiting to explode.
She grabs the next point too — and with that, three match points.
    Wow…
