Angel Reese Gets Good News After Injury With Chicago Sky originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Chicago Sky entered a matchup against the Minnesota Lynx with a clean slate.
Chicago hasn't dealt with too many injuries as of late. Their biggest issue has been the absence of Kamilla Cardoso, who was once away from the team playing with Brazil in the FIBA AmeriCup, but she has since returned.
Before their previous game against the Dallas Wings, which ended in an 87-76 victory for the Sky, Angel Reese appeared on the injury report. Reese was listed as questionable due to a leg injury.
Reese wound up playing in the game and Chicago coach Tyler Marsh explained that the injury is not of a serious matter.
Heading into their game against the Lynx, Reese's health was to be monitored, given the previous injury designation.
Marsh seems to have been correct with his comments, since WNBA reporter Karli Bell issued the injury report ahead of game time, revealing that Reese is not listed and will be active.
Angel Reese has had yet another successful season with the Chicago Sky.
During her second season with the Sky, Reese headed into the matchup against the Minnesota Lynx, averaging 13.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.
Despite the previous injury designation, Angel Reese has now played two straight games. While fans and media members may monitor the recent questions around Reese's health, given the leg injury, all seems well with the Chicago Sky star.
After a matchup against the Lynx on Saturday, Chicago will have another game against the No. 1 team in the WNBA, slated for Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
