Arkansas Razorbacks at Tennessee Volunteers odds, picks and predictions – Panama City News Herald

The Arkansas Razorbacks (2-3, 0-1 SEC) and No. 12 Tennessee Volunteers (4-1, 1-1) meet Saturday at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. ET (SEC Network). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NCAA football odds around the Arkansas vs. Tennessee odds and make our expert college football picks and predictions for the best bets.
Arkansas dropped its third straight game Sept. 27, falling 56-13 to the No. 16 Notre Dame Fighting Irish at home. The Razorbacks failed to cover as 4.5-point underdogs, while the Over (63.5) easily cashed. RBs Taylen Green and Mike Washington Jr. combined for 145 rushing yards, but the defense had no answers, giving up 641 total yards.
Tennessee escaped with a 41-34 overtime win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs Sept. 27 but failed to cover as a 7.5-point road favorite as the Over (63.5) easily cashed. QB Joey Aguilar had an uneven performance, throwing for 335 yards and 2 interceptions. WRs Mike Matthews (118 yards) and Chris Brazzell II (105) each hauled in 6 catches. RB DeSean Bishop sealed the victory with a 25-yard touchdown run in overtime.
Arkansas and Tennessee last met Oct. 5, 2024, with the Razorbacks pulling off a 19-14 upset. Arkansas covered easily, winning outright as a 14-point home underdog as the Under (57.5) comfortably cashed.

Tennessee (-425) will blast Arkansas at home Saturday afternoon, so I’ll take my wager to the spread.
I’m backing TENNESSEE -10.5 (-105) because this matchup feels tailor-made for the Vols to roll at home.
Tennessee has been dominant in Knoxville, going 24-4 at home since 2021, and it has built one of the most explosive offenses in the country. The Vols are averaging 51 points per game, tops in the SEC, and piling up 536.4 total yards per game, second in the conference. This offense under Josh Heupel runs at a relentless tempo, wearing down defenses and turning every possession into a scoring opportunity.
Aguilar has been the driving force behind that success, throwing for 1,459 yards, which ranks second in the SEC. His ability to attack vertically and stretch the field has given this team a level of confidence few opponents can match. With playmakers at receiver and a balanced ground game, Tennessee can strike from anywhere on the field.
Simply put, Tennessee has too much speed, too much firepower and too much home-field energy for Arkansas to hang around.

    BET OVER 68.5 (-110).
The Under has cashed in 5 of the last 6 meetings, but both teams look much different this season. The Over has hit in 4 straight Razorbacks games and 9 of Tennessee’s last 10 dating back to 2023. With the Volunteers averaging 51 points per game, this matchup screams Over once again.
