Bangladesh and Ireland will face off in a two-Test series starting tomorrow: here’s where to watch the series live, including TV channels and live streaming.
The two Tests will take place in Sylhet and Dhaka, starting at 10:00am local time on November 11 and November 19. This will be followed by a three-match T20I series from November 27 to December 2; the first two games are in Chattogram and the last in Dhaka.
These two sides have met only once in Test cricket before – a one-off match in 2023. That was in Mirpur, and Bangladesh won by seven wickets thanks to standout contributions from Taijul Islam (5-58 & 4-90) and Mushfiqur Rahim (126). Ireland wicketkeeper Lorcan Tucker also distinguished himself, scoring 108 in the third innings.
Gazi TV and T Sports will provide live broadcast and streaming of the Test series for home fans.
T Sports Bangladesh will show the series on YouTube for viewers in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
The FanCode app and website will provide live streaming for fans in India. There is no TV broadcast available.
For the hosts, the most significant news is the return of opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy, following a solid recent run of form in domestic cricket. Najmul Hossain Shanto will remain skipper, as emphasised by a Bangladesh press release last month which detailed that he would remain in the position for the remainder of the World Test Championship cycle.
Ireland have handed a maiden Test call-up to Cade Carmichael, who debuted in ODI cricket against the West Indies earlier this year.
